Weekly Sunday Worship is at 10am

What is worship like at Joyful Servant Lutheran Church?

At Joyful Servant we worship the Lord and offer our gifts of praise, music, and prayer. The service includes some portions from traditional Lutheran liturgies – that follow the historic worship flow of Gathering, Word, Meal and Sending – along with some more contemporary music, litanies, and experiences that connect past with present.  We include a young member’s message most Sundays.  Our Communion together every week is often celebrated in a circle of unity with blessing and prayer, although on certain Sundays we receive communion via intinction. The service ends with  a blessing of rejuvenation for our new week.

Our entire service is projected on screens in the front of the sanctuary and a paper bulletin is given to all as they come in.

Do I have to give an offering if I am visiting?

Like most Christians, our members bring offerings to God through their church. Since offerings are gifts of love for God, no one dictates what each person is to give. These offering give them the opportunity to not only show love to Christ, but also to support the work of our congregation as we bring the good news of Christ’s love to more people.

As our guest, we do not expect you to contribute an offering, nor do we want to pressure you into doing so. Your presence in worship is a gift to God and to the community.  If you do wish to give, you are welcome and offering envelopes are available on the circle table in the Narthex, or simply place your gift in the plate as it is passed.
