What are Joyful Servant’s beliefs?
Lutherans believe in the Triune God. God created and loves all of creation — the earth and the seas and all of the world’s inhabitants. We believe that God’s Son, Jesus Christ, transforms lives through his death on the cross and his new life, and we trust that God’s Spirit is active in the world. We are part of God’s unfolding plan. When we gather for worship, we connect with believers everywhere. When we study the Bible or hear God’s word in worship, we are drawn more deeply into God’s own saving story. More information is available on our Beliefs page.

I’m thinking of attending a service. How should I dress?
Come as you are. Casual dress is fine.
Is your building handicapped-accessible?
Yes. There are plentiful handicapped parking spaces available. As part of our recent building expansion, our facility fully complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Can my children stay with me during the worship service?
Absolutely. God calls all to come and worship and that includes wiggly, giggly, just a bit too loud, and crying babies. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to worship and if they feel they need to step out for a bit do just that. Additionally, childcare is available during worship for all children ages birth-3 – just down the hall from the sanctuary. All children in nursery are brought in for the Young Member’s Message and Holy Communion.
